DST FIST Grant

News

* Prof. Manish Kumar and Prof. Santanu Koley has received International Travel Support Grant from NBHM and CSIR, Govt. of India, respectively, for attending the conference ICIAM 2023, in Tokyo, Japan. Further, they have also received a waiver of JPY 50,000 towards the registration fee.

 

* Prof. Santanu Koley received the Registration waiver of JPY 50,000 under ICIAM 2023 FS1 Financial Support Program for Registration Fee.

 

* Prof. P. K. Sahoo has received the Transilvania Fellowship for Visiting Professor.

 

* Dr. Sanjay Mandal has been awarded Transilvania Fellowship for Post-Doctoral research.

 

* Dr. Santanu Koley received a Joint project with RMIT University (Ph.D. Program), Australia.

Student's Achievements

* Kshma Trivedi, Vipin V, Santanu Kumar Dash, Kailash Chand Swami, and Amya Ranjan Ray (PhD Student) received the Registration waiver of JPY 20,000 under ICIAM 2023 FS1 Financial Support Program for Registration Fee.

 

* Ms. Sunita Kumawat, Ph.D. student has received DST International Travel Award to attend the conference SIAM CSE-2023 during Feb 26-March 3, 2023 at Amsterdam, Netherlands. She has also won an award of $250 for getting selected at the final round of HACKATHON, a coding competition held two days before the SIAM CSE-2023.

 

* Ms. Sunita Kumawat received the SIAM-Student Travel award of $950 to attend the Conference SIAM CSE-2023 in Amsterdam.

 

* Dhruv Saxena (FD Student) has been awarded MITACS Globalink Research Internship, 2023.

 

* Arabelly Abhinav (FD Student) has been awarded with NTU India Connect Research Internship Program, Aug-Dec, 2022.

* Agrawal AS (PhD Student) received SERB-DST International Travel Award to attend DSU-2022 at Sydney, Australia.

 

* Agrawal AS (PhD Student) delivered a talk on “Matter Bounce Scenario in Extended Symmetric Teleparallel Gravity” in the 16th workshop on the Dark Side of the Universe (DSU-2022), and at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

 

* Simran Arora (PhD Student) received SERB-DST International Travel Award to attend the workshop Challenges to ΛCDM-2022 at Greece.

 

* Vipin V (PhD Student) has been awarded with Best oral/poster presentation award (Remotely) at 7th International Conference on Advances on Clean Energy Research (ICACER 2022), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, BarcelonaTech (UPC), Spain, April 20-22, 2022.

 

* Ms. Laxmipriya Pati (PhD Student) has been awarded the Dora Plus Scholarship to carry out her research work at University of Tartu.

 

* Faiz Imam presented a contributed talk (In-Person) on “Periodicity of solenoidal automorphisms", (joint work with Dr. Sharan Gopal) on July 29, 2022 , at the Symposia on General Topology and its Relations to Modern Analysis and Algebra held at Institute of Mathematics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic.

 

* Faiz Imam presented an online expository talk on “Solenoidal automorphisms & their periodic properties, (joint work with Dr. Sharan Gopal) on April 5, 2022 , at the Graduate Talks in Geometry and Topology, Australia : (GT)² (supported by MATRIX and Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute).

 

* Faiz Imam presented a Paper (Remotely) on “Periodicity of automorphisms on one dimensional solenoids”, (joint work with Dr. Sharan Gopal) on March 10, 2022 , in the Special session on Dynamical Systems at the 55th Spring Topology and Dynamics Conference, Baylor University, Waco, Texas, USA.

 

* Ms Simran Arora, Research Scholar has received "Young Relativist" award by Tensor Society of India in the International Conference on Differential Geometry & its Applications held at Kuvempu University, Karnataka during March 04-05, 2022.

 

* Mr. Sanjay Mandal, Research Scholar has received the "Best Paper" award in the "International Conference on Differential Geometry and its Applications" organized jointly by the Kuvempu University, Shivamogga, Karnataka, and The Tensor Society, India during March 04-05, 2022.

 

* Ms. Laxmipriya Pati, Research Scholar has received the Dora Plus Scholarship to visit the University of Tartu.

 

* Tapas Ranjan Panigrahi, Research Scholar has received the 'BEST PAPER PRESENTATION' award in ICRAGEE-2021, an International Conference organized by IISc Bangalore and IIT Roorkee during July 12-15, 2021.
