Innovate. Achieve. Lead.

The Department has separate research laboratories for analytical, organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry. There are a number of laboratory equipment in each of these laboratories such as rotary evaporators, cyclic voltameter, microwave digestion apparatus, high temperature muffle furnace, UV-vis spectrophotometers, cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometer, hot air oven, probe sonicator, etc.

In addition to this, the undergraduate teaching laboratories include the general chemistry laboratory and chemical experimentation. The major equipment such as FTIR, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, X-ray Diffractometers (both powder and single crystal), NMR, GC, MS, HPLC, SEM, XPS, BET analyzer, Flourimeters, Chromatographic equipment, Polarimeters, etc. is available in the Central Analytical Laboratory.
