Team Inspired Karters Gravity participated in the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC) 2023
Team Inspired Karters Gravity participated in the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC) 2023 which took place at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama, U.S.A. The aim of the competition was to build a human-powered Mars rover that could traverse an obstacle course that was designed to replicate the Martian terrain. During this event, the team achieved wonders and ranked 1st in Project Review Award, 12th overall among 61 international teams from 8 different countries, and 1st overall in Asia-Pacific Region. Arnav Singh (Team Lead), Atharva Sunder Ramdas, Botu Rohith, Kanva A. Kashyapa, Samkit Jain, Atharv Srivastava, and Shayna Godha are the team members who participated in this event.
For NASA HERC 2021 (Online), the team stood 10th overall and ranked 1st in Project Planning. Improving on designs, in the following year at NASA HERC 2022 (Online) the team stood 5th overall, ranked 2nd in Project Review Award, 3rd in Video Submission Award, and 1st overall in Asia-Pacific Region.
