M.Sc. Business Analytics is a five-semester Work Integrated Learning Programme designed for working professionals, who are aspiring for rapid career progression in the high-growth areas of Business Analytics and Big Data.
Duration: 5 Semesters
What are the programme objectives?:
This programme aims to equip working professionals to take on challenging roles in business analytics by laying a foundation in the area of Statistics, IT & related areas, and training learners in the latest developments in the area of business analytics across industry verticals.
What are the learning outcomes?:
Upon completion of this programme, the participants will be able to:
- Apply statistical data analysis and other decision science techniques to effectively solve real world business problems
- Objectively analyse alternatives using quantitative techniques
- Develop appropriate algorithms using machine learning techniques to solve business problems
- Effectively communicate the results of the analysis using appropriate data visualization techniques
What is the eligibility criteria?:
Working professionals holding B.Sc./ M.Sc./ B.E./ MCA/ MBA or equivalent are eligible to apply. Applicants with other qualifications such as B.Com. etc. may apply provided they have done a basic mathematics/ statistics at both 10+2 and Undergraduate level. All candidates should have a minimum one year of relevant work experience.
Admissions to next semester will begin in May 2018
