We have created a fund code named “BITS1.996CR” and we’ve set a goal of raising 1.996 Crore INR ($ 250,000) as the 96 Batch Class Gift. These funds will go towards setting up merit-cum-needs scholarships, supporting and investing in BITSian Startups on Campus, the BITS Alumni Fund for Children Education, and other need-based projects with an objective to generate additional revenue streams for generations to come. During the course of our reunion in December 2022, we will collectively decide on the final list of projects we want to support.
The important thing is that you contribute what you can, and we would love to have maximum participation from our batch. The easiest way is to contribute online but other mechanisms are also provided below. And don't forget to get your company to match your donation and remember they are tax-deductible (see details below).
We have tried to arrive at a method which is not taxing on a month-to-month basis, but once the contribution is complete, will help us achieve our goal.
